Serdiuks (Ukraine)

Hetman's mercenaries were divided into cavalry and infantry regiments. Foot Cossacks were called serdiuks or ohochepehotnys. Their tactics and skills were certainly no match for those of regular European musketeers; however, they did for fighting back Tatars and for combat in cross-country. Serdiuks were usually dressed in their traditional valueumes.

 Armed with a musket. Hits targets at long range. Effective only in conjunction with infantry. Does not fire if the enemy approaches too close. One of the best shooters in the game. Long range of fire.
